Imagine awakening to a beautiful morning in Kefalonia, ocean breeze streaming through the olive trees outdoors. You stroll out of your villa bedroom for breakfast and a panoramic view of the Mediterranean landscape. Choose to chat with friends, sit in silence or stroll through the garden.
Soon you'll be practicing yoga in the olive grove yoga studio and discovering new aspects of your personality through workshops with special guest teachers. Your afternoon possibilities are endless: you may decide to lounge by the pool, take a short walk to the beach, receive a massage, or join one of our group cultural excursions. The possibilities are endless!

The intention of this retreat is to create space to connect with yourself, be inspired by a beautiful landscape, and have fun!
The Location
Vericoco Retreat in Kefalonia (also spelled Cephalonia), Greece, is a space designed for creative practices and relaxation. Set within olive groves and with magnificent views of the majestic Mount Aenos and the Ionian sea, simply savoring the surroundings is meditation in and of itself. A short stroll downhill offers you the choice of our two nearest beaches, both with trademark Kefalonian crystal-clear shallow waters.
Kefalonia itself is a lush green island in the Ionian, famous for its turquoise seas and clean sandy beaches. One of the largest Greek islands, it also boasts the impressive Mount Aenos with thick fir forests as well as underground caves and ample countryside.
What to Expect
Expect daily movement, breath & guided self-discovery workshops. Enjoy nourishing, greek-inspired meals with a healthy & modern twist (food intolerances & requests will all be accommodated). Access to the gorgeous grounds of the property is available to you throughout your stay. Expect to explore the local area and enjoy exclusive experiences...all with an intimate group of both new and old friends.

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold your spot.

The final payment will be due on March 10th, 2023.

Installment payments are available: Payment 1 due on February 5th, payment 2 due on March 10th, 2023

Villa Rooms
The villa rooms offer spectacular sea and mountain views. All rooms have a/c, their own balconies with sea and garden views. The property has a large swimming pool and spectacular views to the sea. Each of the two villa properties has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining and living room with wood stove and spectacular sea and mountain views.

Cottage Rooms
The cottage rooms offer recently renovated Mediterranean living, each apartment has its own kitchen area, air conditioning and veranda dining space set within lush gardens looking onto the sea and Mount Aenos.

Studio
The studio offers one double bedroom with a double bed and single bed, its own bathroom, kitchenette, private entrance, and veranda. It is fitted with mosquito nets and air conditioning.

Will there be other COVID-19 testing requirements?Yes, we will require everyone attending to test with PCR test 48-72 hours before the retreat begins — make arrangements to be absolutely sure that you’ll receive your results by the beginning of the retreat. We ask that you do not dine indoors or other engage in high risk exposures for at least a week before. This plan may be revised as we approach the retreat, depending on current covid numbers and trends.

What other COVID-19 considerations will be taken for this retreat?We have an large practice room (3,000 square feet), during group activities you can choose to have as much space as you want from the rest of the group. There is space beyond 6 ft apart and large doors will be opened for airflow. Food will be served in the dining room but you may eat outdoors if you prefer.

May I come late or leave early?We are happy to discuss this with you.

Will my food allergy/intolerance/restriction be accommodated?Yes!

How many people are in a shared accommodation?Shared private bedrooms will have 2-3 people, and shared bathrooms may share with between 2 and 4 people. Communal loft will accommodate 6 people, with a dedicated bathroom. Primary suite accommodates 2-3 people, with a private bathroom. Guest house shared accommodates 2-4 people per room, with a shared bathroom.

What if there are government/flight restrictions due to the pandemic?The retreat will be rescheduled, but not refunded. Your registration will be applied to that later date. If you are unable to join us for the rescheduled date, 50% of your payment will be refunded.

What if I need to cancel?While the deposit is non-refundable, we will issue a refund of all other fees before March 10, 2022. After that date, no refunds are available. You can, however, transfer your registration to another guest. If you or someone in your home has COVID within 14 days of the retreat, we will reschedule you for a future retreat or refund up to 50% of the fee (minus deposit), with proof of a positive test and a note from your doctor.
